Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?
God saved me from attachment to objects. I didn’t have any special things.
My youth was from 1997 to 2003
I looked at the main events in Russia on Wikipedia
1997 – mass actions against non-payment of wages, war in Chechnya.
1998 – one of the most severe economic crises in Russia
1999 – a series of terrorist attacks
2000 – Putin came
2001 – banks, airlines, etc. were founded.
2002 – Mass riots in Moscow on Monezhnaya Square
My family was large and not rich; I had three more brothers. And it was not an easy time.
So I didn’t have any personal belongings. If something appeared, it was common. For example, our parents bought us an Izh Jupiter 5 motorcycle. Well, we took turns riding it.
In 2001, I graduated from school, my parents sent me to study at a university in another city.
In 2002, I got a Pentium 2 computer, but it wasn’t just mine either.
My friends and I rented an apartment and we took turns using the computer.
